Generally, phones that store fewer numbers aren’t cheaper. Decide what your needs are and add on space for 10 or so more numbers in case you need to store new ones in the future.
8. Hands-Free Operation
Speaker operation is fantastic; hearing impaired and non-hearing impaired users alike love this option. You really can’t beat the convenience of hands-free calling.
Since all phones aren’t created equal in the clarity of hearing the caller, check reviews. You need all your microphones –– incoming voice, outgoing voice (yours), and speaker –– to be clear, static and feedback-free, and to have enough amplification.
9. Choose a Returnable Model
Our recommendation on most electronics is to choose a returnable model. Any reputable seller will offer this option. While we’ve chosen hearing impaired phones with stellar reputations for our list above, any electronics device may come in damaged or simply not be a good fit for your needs.
Another great factor is a warranty. See whether the model you want to order has a warranty, whether it’s free (or very inexpensive), and the time frame (6 months, 12 months, 5 years, etc.). Check specific coverable defects and covered user error issues carefully.
